Being a Christian is simple. You believe that Jesus died and rose again, you believe that God is THE ONE AND ONLY God. To any non-believers, take a minute. Put down your pride, and look at the world around you. Listen to the birds, the children, look at where you live, all that you have, all that IS provided for you. If that itself does not prove God's greatness, I'm not sure what you define as great.

He wouldn't get that if people didn't have the choice to follow him or not. As to the other question, that would be like believing in many gods. The Bible says that God created the heavens and the earth and all humankind. In the prophets (some of the books of the Bible) it talks about the other gods, how they can do neither harm nor good. We have to try to walk in the footsteps of the apostles and "teach the Gospel at all times, and only when necessary, use words." I consider myself a Christian, i love God, and try my best to love my enemies. But im still young, i make mistakes and i find it hard to follow all the rules im given. I know that as a christian i should go out and spread God's love but i prefer to do this in a subtle manner, rather than some of the ways in which i have experienced from other christians which can be almost threatening. im 21yrs old pray at home my husband is a soldier deployed in afghanistan and we have 2 kids a 4yr old and 2yr old hes been gone 5months i pray all the time. I also struggle with looking at things I shouldn't (among other things); just keep in mind that the blood of Jesus Christ is infinitely greater than anything and everything you could ever do, "so let us approach the throne of grace with confidence to receive mercy and timely help." Paul talks about going through similar struggles as well-such things are common to us as human beings.
